PROFILINE SP 06-02 – Heavy Cut Compound Paste 250 ml

SONAX PROFILINE SP 6/2 Heavy Cut Compound Paste 250 ml is a professional, silicone-free high-cut compound for restoring heavily worn paintwork. It removes oxidation, P1200+ sanding marks and damage caused by bird droppings, insects and resin. Suitable for all paint types and colours, with cut level 6 and gloss level 2.

Shake the bottle well before use. The compound is recommended for use with a wool pad (493141) or a hard pad (492241). The choice depends on the condition of the surface, the hardness of the paint and the result you want. Put some compound on the pad of your choice and spread it at low speed (800 rpm) with moderate pressure of 5–10 kg for 60 seconds. Then polish at a higher speed (1200 rpm) with light pressure of 1–2 kg for 30 seconds. Times and speeds may vary with the type of polisher used. The times given refer to one polishing cycle on an area of about one square metre of medium-hard paint. Always check the result by cleaning the surface with a microfibre cloth and Prepare paint cleaning spray (237300), then inspect it with a lamp. Follow-up polishing steps with the finer compounds FS 05-04 (319300) and NP 03-06 (208300) are recommended for a flawless result. Clean the pad regularly with compressed air during use. Do not use different polishes on the same pad. Do not use on hot surfaces. Protect from frost. Keep out of the reach of children.
